Katherine King always wanted to be a health care professional. She liked the broad range of specialties and the unique ability to help others that the practice of medicine offers. At the Neurology and Pain Specialty Center, Katherine concentrates on the practice of general neurology, especially patient education and advocacy.
In 2006, Katherine graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in biological sciences. In 2007, She enrolled at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and made the Dean’s List in 2008 and again in 2009. Katherine completed her M.S. in physician assistant studies in 2009. A distinguished scholar, she made the “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges,” in 2009.
Upon graduation from Western University, Katherine joined the staff of East Valley Community Health Center in West Covina as a family practice physician assistant. In 2010, Katherine joined the Neurology and Pain Specialty Center.
Katherine is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
When she’s not working, Katherine enjoys attending live concerts and musicals, cooking, reading and traveling.
