Certified Physician Assistant
“I want to connect with patients and their families to help them work through treatment. I want to be there for them.”
Jessica Vollebregt always wanted to be in the medical field, and after exploring the opportunities available, decided that the role of a physician assistant fit her goals the best. In particular, she found the practice of neurology both interesting and rewarding. Focusing on general neurology and neuro-muscular disorders, Jessica Vollebregt is a vital part of the health care team at the Neurology and Pain Specialty Center.
In 2006, Jessica graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington with a B.S. in biology. In 2009, she earned her M.S. in physician assistant studies from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, where she was on the Dean’s List in 2009. A member of the academic exchange program at Western University, she spent three weeks at Shantou University in China to take the course “Traditional Chinese and Modern Medical Practice in China.”
During her studies, Jessica’s clinical experience included working as a physician scribe for Emergency Medicine Specialists of Orange County and a patient care technician in the emergency room at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California. Upon graduation, she joined the staff of the Neurology and Pain Management Center.
Jessica is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
A former ski instructor, Jessica loves the outdoors, particularly camping, running and bicycling. She is also a volunteer for community outreach.
